Restyled Terms & Conditions

General

Restyled customers are strongly advised to read these terms and conditions carefully before purchasing services on Restyled.is. By using the Restyled.is services, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms unconditionally, as they are at each point in time. Restyled reserves the right to change these terms without notice.

Service Information and Pricing

Restyled.is provides styling consultancy in the form of subscription boxes. Customers complete a detailed survey including size, fit, and budget preferences, enabling the stylist to define customer needs as accurately as possible.

The stylist selects 3 or 5 items which are shipped to the customer’s chosen address.

Customers pay both a fixed styling fee and for the items chosen by the Restyled stylist.

The styling fee depends on the subscription frequency:

  • Box once a month: 4,590 ISK
  • Box every 6 weeks: 5,290 ISK
  • Box every 2 months: 5,690 ISK
  • Single box (no subscription): 5,990 ISK

The price of the items inside the box is determined entirely by the customer’s budget preferences. The total box value can range between 15,000 ISK and 100,000 ISK.

Green Box: 18,790 ISK all-inclusive. This box contains 3 items in excellent condition (pre-owned clothing), with styling fee included and shipping included.

All prices are subject to possible typographical errors.

Payment Process and Order Fulfillment

The customer pays the styling fee each time a box is shipped, whether part of a subscription or a single box. The styling fee is non-refundable.

Once the styling service fee has been received, the customer will receive a box with 3 or 5 items, chosen to match their preferences. Items are purchased individually for each customer from partner stores.

Payment for the items in the box is charged in advance, before shipping. A box will not be shipped if payment authorization fails.

Boxes are shipped within 3 days for monthly subscriptions, otherwise within 5 days.

Restyled covers shipping costs and uses Dropp for deliveries. Dropp provides same-day delivery in the Reykjavík capital area. Deliveries outside the capital area may take 1–2 business days.

Subscriptions renew automatically. It is the customer’s responsibility to cancel the subscription, either temporarily or permanently, through “My Pages” on Restyled.is.

Note that each order involves two separate payments: the styling fee and the payment for the box contents. Terms regarding returns are outlined below.

Returns

Customers may return items within 5 days from the time the package is ready for delivery with Dropp. Refunds are available for part or all of the box contents.

Items must be in their original condition, unused, and with all tags attached.

Restyled covers the return shipping costs. Refunds cannot be issued once the return period has expired.

Please note that the styling fee is not refundable, regardless of whether the customer keeps all, some, or none of the items.

Defective Items

If an item in a Restyled box is found to be defective, the customer may request a refund or exchange for a comparable item, provided one is available. Notifications of defective items should be sent to restyled@restyled.is.

Handling of Card and Personal Information

When registering for the Restyled.is mailing list, the customer must provide personal details including full name, address, phone number, and email. By registering, the customer consents to their personal data being stored and processed in accordance with these terms.

The same information must be provided to purchase Restyled services, whether for a subscription or a single box.

Restyled treats all personal data as strictly confidential and with the utmost care.

Card and personal information for subscriptions is processed through Áskel (Overcast), a PCI-certified subscription system that securely stores card information. Restyled does not store card details under any circumstances.

Data Deletion

Requests for deletion of personal data must be sent by email to restyled@restyled.is. To expedite processing, please include your full name, registered email, and other identifying information related to your service use.

Restyled processes requests in accordance with data protection laws and GDPR. We may request further identity confirmation before fulfilling a request. Once data deletion is completed, confirmation will be sent to the customer’s email address.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms shall be interpreted in accordance with Icelandic law. Any disputes or claims against Restyled arising from these terms shall be resolved before Icelandic courts.
